Safety on Programmes

Safety for High Places has always being first priority; various facets of safety are taken into account for every programme.  High Place takes pride in stating that it holds an impeccable record of having no serious emergency situations since 1984 the time when it was formed.

Outdoor Experts

Trained and experienced outdoor experts regularly updated on first aid and rescue techniques make all programme safe and exciting. International safety standards of Outdoor expert to participant ratio are maintained on all outdoor programmes.

Equipment

High Quality internationally accredited equipments are used for all the outdoor activities. Fully equipped and modern store team takes care of regular maintenance and checks for kinds of technocal and non technical equipment needed for outdoor programmes.

First Aid

Every programme gear consists of number of First Aid kits depending on the group size. These are regularly updated in consultation with Medical practitioners. (First Aid kit also includes Anti Snake Venom). There are tie ups with local primary health centers and hospitals close to our programme sites as a standard safety measure for being prepared for any case of emergency.

Safety Vehicle

A dedicated safety vehicle is present for every programme on the programme location for the entire programme duration.

Precautionary Measures

For every programme, the participants are required to fill in a special information form which includes personal details like blood group, recent illnesses, current medications if any etc. This information is used to design activities and take care and precautionary measures for each individual on the programme.
The participants are provided with a personal kit list much in advance so they can come prepared with necessary things for the Outdoor Programme.
