Who are we?
High Places is the pioneer and leading organization in the field of offering Outdoor based Management Development programmes to most of the prime Organisations in India. In 1989 the first Outdoor based training programme in India was conducted for 7 days at the foot hills of Rajmaachi Fort near Lonavala, Pune by High Places.
Since then High Places has focused and specialized on creating and conducting different kinds of outdoor programmes that can address various requirements of the industry.
This specialization that got seeded in 1989 triggered the formation of High Places in India as a separate identity from the erstwhile High Places based out of UK. The earlier High Places was instigated by Vasant Limaye and four British partners in 1985 which offered Himalayan Expeditions and High Altitude Treks.
With a drive for Explorations and search for newer frontiers, High place has conducted programmes across India and abroad.
High Places began with a bunch of keen, enthusiast outdoor people who took the risk to explore and expand the possibilities of outdoors for the Indian industry to benefit from. Today it is a team of more than 140 highly professional people who specialize in Outdoors, Training & Facilitation, logistics and planning and strategy and design.
As an offering of outdoors and its benefits to be offered to the society, High Places has also been conducting programmes for NGO’s, street children, spastics & orphans.
High Places lives by and strongly believes that nature and outdoors has immense to offer and teach and has the potential to impact and change human lives.
